I started the strength workout on my Look better Naked DVD. It might be a little easier if the weights I had to work with weren't eight pounds each!!! That makes things slightly more difficult but it also makes me feel slightly more accomplished! It's only day two for the strength workout! I think tomorrow I'll do it again and also get in a hip hop abs workout with Shawn T!!!! Let's keep it up!! Now all I need to do is improve my eating habits and a flat tummy can be somewhere in the near future!! : D

I have found a new workout DVD that is KICKING. MY. BUTT! It's called Look Better Naked and it is a workout done by Womenshealth to help women get into shape and get the body they have always wanted. The trainer is Jessica Smith and she is incredible! She started into fitness because she was overweight and unhappy like a lot of us are and she started working out 10 minutes at a time and then 15 and then 20 and then so on and so forth. It is truly inspiring to see where she is now and think that not long ago she was going through the same struggles that I am. It just takes time, discipline and an "I want this" attitude. Come on Taylor. Let's get slim for summer!!!

So I have found that my muscles and limbs are not keeping up with my mind. I wan't to keep going and going and going but my muscles start screaming after about an hour of exercise. It frustrates me so much that I am not at the point yet where I have enough stamina and strength to do a two hour workout. I know that is my own fault because I haven't exercised like I used to and so most of my muscle strength was lost over time but argh! I just wanna go go go and meet my goal! I need to let go of the fantasy that jumping back into exercise is cake because wow it so is not. It might also help if I had a safer place to run, one that I didn't have to drive to. I need to take it one day at a time I guess and just slowly start making my routines longer and harder. It's the only way I will get to my weight in time! June 1st, 130 pounds! Let's make it happen!!

So I have been in a three day exercise slump. Monday was fine, I was pumped and up for the challenge, and then Tuesday came and there was much to do and much cleaning to be done so I did that instead. Then on Wednesday there was more cleaning to do and many places to go so that was done instead of the exercise. Then yesterday I tackled the upstairs and went out to lunch with my fathah so again working out was forgotten and left behind. This stinks! I want to be in shape! I can't have anymore excuses! I need to go to bed earlier and wake up like wise! I need to eat a little something for energy and then my first task of the day needs to be working out, above all else! (Except scripture reading with the hubby.) I need to get it done so I can say that I am capable of accomplishing my goals!! Now I need to pretend like today is my first day back into working out and I just need to stick to it! I enjoy doing it once I've gotten started! It's just trying to get myself ready and into it is the problem! Well today I work out and then I clean the rest of the upstairs! No more Excuses!!

So it has been a couple of days since I've last posted, well that is because Friday was sort of a downer day and I needed a date night with the hubby so I cheated on the diet and had CHIPOTLE!!!! AHHH!!! I know I know but it was just so good and there are just some things you should not deprive yourself of! And Chipotle is one of those things! haha and needless to say I was a bum about my diet the whole weekend. Monday came and I did a lot better eating wise though I didn't work out. I did stay active though by cleaning the whole downstairs! That was a workout in itself!! I did get in a Total Body Burn 45 minute video though and I feeeeeel thhheee buuurrrn!!! Haaa And now to clean the upstairs portion of the house!!! Now to stick to the bun burning action so I can look good in that bathing suit this summer!! Woooot!

So as you may see day number three is missing, well after my workout on day number two I woke up so sore I could barely walk. I think I pushed it a little too fast and did a little too much. I got a little too eager about getting my body fit and into shape that I ignored the easing your body back into extensive exercise rule. Haha and so I am paying for it!! However, today is a new day and being slightly less sore today than I was yesterday I am excited to do another video and continue my progress into losing weight before the summer!!!
